It’s that time again!
Yup, that’s right. It’s time for the monthly Feminist Collection of Awesomeness that is the Down Under Feminists’ Carnival. For the newbies, the DUFC is a collection of writing on broadly-defined feminist issues by Australian and New Zealand bloggers. It encompasses everything from political commentary to topics like race, gender, sexual inequality, queer issues, disability, human rights and social justice, sex and relationships, fat politics, feminist theory and more.
I’m relying on your submissions to make this thing happen, so if you see something you’ve really liked on an Australia or NZ blog, please submit it! Likewise, if you are a feminist blogger writing from Australia or NZ, feel free to shamelessly self-promote your own work. Submit by sending me an email at jo[dot]alifeunexamined[at]gmail[dot]com, or by leaving a comment on this post!
Felt like starting a blog recently, or have something really pressing to say? Now is the perfect time to start writing! Any new bloggers are particularly welcome and are highlighted every month, and if you don’t have a blog I can post your work here as a guest post.
Don’t forget to check out last month’s edition at The Hand Mirror.
